ESTIMASI STANDING STOCK SUMBER DAYA IKAN BERDASARKAN KANDUNGAN KLOROFIL-A
Abstract
Data dan informas1 standing stocK sumber daya ikan sangat diperlukan dalam upaya eksploitasi perikanan tangkap. Dalam tulisan ini, nilai standing stock sumber daya ikan di Laut Gina Selatan diestimas1 berdasarkan pada produktivitas primer bersih (net primary product1vity!NPP) yang merupakan fungsi dan konsentrasi klorofil-a permukaan (sea surface chlorophyll-a). Data yang digunakan c.dalah data klorofil-a insitu dan hasil survei tanggal 18-30 Jum 2005 dan 10-23 Juli 2006 dengan KR SEAF·DEC 2 serta data klorofil-a dan net pnmary productivity dari c1tra satelit sensor MODIS AQUA. Rata-rata konsentrasi sea surface chlorophyll-a insitu bulan Jun1 2005 yaitu 0,23 mg m-3 dan sse citra 0 56 mg m 3 sedangkan bulan Juli 2006 sse insitu yaitu 0 09 mg m·3 dan sse citra 0,18 mg m 3• Berdasarkan pada analisis i<lorofil-a citra satelit dengan menggunakan vertically generalized production modd (VGPM) diperoleh rata-rata produktivitas primer bulan Jun1 2005 yaitu 659,13 mgC m-2 hr' dan bulan Juli 2006 yaitu 319,27 mgC m 2 hr·• Berdasarkan pada nilai produktivitas primer, maka d1peroleh standmg stock sumber daya ikan pelagis pada daerah survei bulan Juni 2005 yaitu 2. 211,67 ton atau 1 941 202 60 ton thn 1 dan bulan Juli 2006 ya1tu 506,17 ton atau 524 314,86 ton thn-•.
Accurate informatiOn of standing stock of fish resources is prerequisite for optimal fishing. In this paper, standing stock of fish resources assessment in Indonesia southern part of South China Sea was determined by net pnmary productivity (NPP), wh1ch was function of sea surface chlorophyll-a concentration (SSC). Data of sea surface chlorophyll-a insitu were gathered through research using vessel MV SEAFDEC 2 on 18-30 June 2005 and 10-23 July 2006 and also that sea surface chlorophyll a concentration and net pnmary product1v1ty 1mages from ocean color remote sensmg images (MODIS AQUA). Average of sea sudace chlorophyll-a concentration on June 2005 were 0 23 mg m 3 (insitu) and 0.56 mg m-3 (images), whJ/e on July 2006 were 0.09 mg m·3 (insitu), and 0.18 mg m·3 (images), respectively The 1mages chlorophyll-a analys1s using vertically generalized production model (VGPM). it was found average of net pnmary productivity value of 659.13 mgC m2 day' (June 2005) and 319.27 mgC m-2 day-1 (July 2006). Based on the net primary productivity value on the survey area, it was calculated that standmg stock offish resources were 2,211.67 ton in June 2005 or 1,941,202.60 ton yr and 506 17 ton in July 2006 or 524,314.86 ton yr'.
