PERTUMBUHAN DAN MORTALITAS IKAN GEROPAK (Hexanematichthys sagor) DI PERAIRAN PESISIR MUARA ANGKE, JAKARTA UTARA

Abstract


Muara Angke memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan dalam sektor perikanan. salah satu potensi sumberdaya ikan yang bernilai secara ekologi dan eknomi adalah ikan geropak (Hexanematichthys sagor). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung laju parameter pertumbuhan ikan dan tingkat mortalitas ikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama periode satu tahun, yakni dari Oktober 2023 hingga November 2024, dengan lokasi penangkapan ikan di perairan pesisir Muara Angke. Metode penangkapan ikan dengan dengan purposive sampling. Penangkapan ikan memakai jaring insang (gillnet) dengan mata jaring berukuran 2; 3; 3, 5 inchi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data frekuensi panjang (length-frequency atau L/F data) dalam satuan cm untuk mengestimasi pola pertumbuhan ikan. Pertumbuhan panjang ikan dihitung dengan model von Bertalanffy. Nilai L dan K didapatkan dari hasil penghitungan dengan metode ELEFAN 1 yang terdapat dalam program FISAT II. Penentuan mortalitas dengan menggunakan teknik Kuosien Z/K dan modifikasinya dikembangkan oleh Boverton and Holt. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diperoleh pola pertumbuhan von Bertalanffy pada ikan jantan dan betina yaitu L = 59,29 [1–e-0,29(t – 0,49)] dan L = 65,89 [1–e-0,25 (t – 0,45)]. ikan geropak jantan memiliki nilai mortalitas total yang lebih rendah (Z = 0,67) dibandingkan betina (Z = 0,96), begitu juga nilai mortalitas alami jantan lebih rendah (M = 0,34) dibandingkan betina (M = 0, 51). Namun, mortalita penangkapan F = 0,92 dan 1,18  per tahun dan tingkat eksploitasi (E) sebesar 0,6 harus dikelola dengan baik karena melebihi batas optimum.
