Abstract

The Society 5.0 era is a continuation of the Industry 4.0 era. Indonesia, especially the aquaculture sub-sector, must make various efforts to welcome and face the development of the world community. Based on aquaculture technology that has been developed at this time and the readiness of human resources to apply this technology, it is hoped that conditions will be created that can encourage the sustainable use of marine and fisheries resources so that the welfare of the nation can be achieved through the aquaculture-community 5.0. Secondary data from various sources or literature is used in this study. The data were thoroughly examined using a rational model, specifically a logical and step-by-step analysis. The study resulted in various things that need attention to achieve sustainable aquaculture, namely preparing the concept of a 5.0 community nationally, overcoming the problems faced in the level of productivity and efficiency, preparing to support the creation of an aquaculture-community 5.0, and initiatives that can be taken in the aquaculture industry.
