Author Guidelines
PREPARATION
1. Buletin Ilmiah Marina Sosial Ekonomi Kelautan dan Perikanan contains socio-economic issues of marine and fisheries
2. The manuscript must be original and never been published before
3. The manuscript should be written correctly in Indonesian language and is not allowed using unknown abbreviation
4. Article should be written with the following format.
- Typed using Microsoft Word with 1 column
- A4 paper size with a length (height) 29.7 cm, width (width) 21 cm with dimensions Top 3 cm, Bottom 3 cm, Right 2.5 cm, Left 2.5 cm, Gutter 1 cm
- Arial 11 pt font, and 1.5 line spacing.

5. Manuscript must be be submitted in a correct form to the online journal system (OJS) after the author register and login to the system.
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
1. Title :
Title should be written less than 15 words, attractive, not local, and express the substance of the article. Name, position or institution, and email of the author should be written below the title
2. Abstract :
Abstract should be written in Indonesian and English, consists of maximum 250 words and only one paragraph. Abstract contains (1) formulation of the main problem/relevant issue; (2) purpose; (3) methods, consisting of (a) approach, (b) research time, (c) data collection, and (d) analysis; and (4) conclusions and suggestions. Written in Arial 10 pt letters, space 1 between lines.
3. Keywords :
Keywords should be written in Indonesian and English, consist of minimum 5 words and written under the abstract
4. Introduction :
Introduction contains the background, problem formulation, theoretical frameworks and research purposes which are made in brief. There should be no tables and figures in the background.
5. Methodology :
The methodology is described in detail and clear regarding to the location and the time of the study, data obtained, and data analysis. If the method used has already known, it must be noted in the reference.
6. Discussion and Findings
This section contains data and information on research findings which are arranged in a description of the data and information discussed and compared with the findings of previous research and related literature. Supporting data in the form of tables, graphs, and pictures can be used to clarify and shorten the description.
The table is concise and given a brief but clear title that only presents essential and easy-to-understand data. The table should be adequately noted, including the source.
Images and graphics must be sharp and clear so that the prints are of good quality and have a source from where the file was taken or the process for obtaining the data. Image and graphic is titled and numbered sequentially with rhome numbers. Title and the caption are written in Indonesian and placed under the image. Graphics should be accompanied with the digital data using MS - Excel program.
7. Conclusions and Policy Implications:
The synthesis of the results of the main discussion is described in a brief, clear, straightforward, non-normative manner and is written in paragraph form. The synthesis of the results refers to the main points of discussion and express the substantial findings of the research. At the end, the author presents scientific opinions and arguments (not policy recommendations) on the results of the synthesis.
8. Acknowledgement
Acknowledgments are written formally to the certain parties, such as research sponsors and those who are really involved in carrying out the research. The words must not be too excessive.
9. Authors Contribution Statement
State the main contributor and supporting contributor of the articles. (please download Author Contribution Statement here)
10. References:
Reference should be included in the manuscript when quoting from another source. It should be from clear and reliable sources. The proportion of the reference consist of 80% primary reference and it is published of the issue in the last 10 years. Every reference listed in the bibliography must be cited in the manuscript, and vice versa every citation must be listed in the bibliography. References for citations are written using APA citations style (American Psychological Association) – 7th edition.
11. Table :
The table is concise and given a brief but clear title that only presents essential and easy-to-understand data. Table is written in Indonesian, written the serial number and typed using MS - Word program (Table is prohibited in JPEG format). The table should be adequately noted, including the source.
12. Image and graphic:
Images and graphics must be sharp and clear so that the prints are of good quality and have a source from where the file was taken or the process for obtaining the data. Image and graphic is titled and numbered sequentially with rhome numbers. Title and the caption are written in Indonesian and English and placed under the image. Graphics should be accompanied with the digital data using MS - Excel program.
