Tren Penelitian Konservasi Laut Berbasis Masyarakat di Indonesia: Analisis Bibliometrik

Alfian Helmi

Abstract

Title: Research Trend on Community Based Marine Conservation in Indonesia: A bibliometric analysis

Community-based marine conservation management is a crucial strategy for preserving marine resources. Studying this approach is particularly important in a maritime nation like Indonesia, with its thousands of islands and extensive waters. This research aims to analyze trends in community-based conservation studies to understand the contributions and patterns of authors and institutions in this field. The study uses bibliometric analysis to evaluate scientific publications on community-based marine conservation management in Indonesia, drawing data from the Scopus database and related journals spanning 1994-2023. The collected data includes publication counts, leading authors, leading institutions, and prevalent research topics. Findings reveal a steady increase in publications on this subject in Indonesia over time. Key research topics include community participation in conservation management, capacity building, and policy development, with IPB University as the leading institution in this research area. This study enhances understanding of current research trends and institutional contributions, highlighting critical topics and ongoing issues that require further investigation. These insights are a foundation for future research and efforts to strengthen community-based marine conservation management in Indonesia.
