Author Guidelines



1.  Journal of socio economy of marine affairs and fisheries contain socio economic issues of marine affairs and fisheries

2.  Article proposed must be original and never been published before

3 . Article should be written correctly in Indonesian language and do not allowed using unknown abbreviation

4. Article should be written in A4 paper using MS-Word within 2 spaces

1. Title  :

Title should be written less than 15 words and express the subtance of the article. Name, position or instatantion and email of the writter should be written below the title

2. Abstract :

Abstract should be in Indonesian and English, consists maximum 200 words containing purpose, methode and result.

3. Keywords :

Keywords should be written in Indonesian and English, consist of 4 to 6 words and put under the abstract

4. Introduction :

Introduction contains the background, problem formulation, theoretical frameworks and research purposes are made in brief

5. Methodology :

The methodology is described in detail and clear regarding to the location and the time of the study, data obtained and data analysis. If the method used has already known, it must be noted in the reference

6. Result and Discussion :

Result and discussion are clearly described and discussed a topic or issue related to the title. It could be supported by tables and figures which are discussed comprehensively and complemented by supported, updated and advanced references.

7. Conclusions and Policy Implications:

Conclusions and Policy Implications are described in  brief and clear, refers to the main points of discussion and express the substantial of the findings of the research.

8. Reference:

Reference should be Included in the script when quoting from another source. The proportion of the reference consist of 80% primary reference and it is published of the issue last 10 years using application mendeley. Reference is arranged alphabetically and written in accordance of the standard regulations

9. Table :

Table is written in Indonesian and English, tittled in brief and clear, written the serial number and typed using MS - Word program (Table is prohibited in JPEG format).

10. Image and graphic:

Image and graphic is titled and numbered sequentially with rhome numbers. Title and the caption are written in Indonesian and English and placed under the image. Graphics should be accompanied with the digital data using MS - Excel program.

  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
