Jurnal Kelautan dan Perikanan Terapan (JKPT) has ISSN Online: 2654-9581 is a journal published by the Politeknik Ahli Usaha Perikanan (Politeknik AUP), Agency of Marine and Fisheries Research and Human Resources, Ministry of Mariine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) with the aim of disseminating information about scientific developments in the field of marine and fisheries in Indonesia. What is meant by scientific developments, innovation and technology in the field of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in Indonesia include: Capture Fisheries, Aquaculture, Post Harvest, Management of Aquatic Resources, Fishery Machinery, Laws and Regulations related to Marine Affairs and Fisheries. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Technology Research/National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Number 148/M/KPT/2020, JKPT is accredited at SINTA 3, starting from number 2 of 2018- number 1 of 2023.

Manuscripts submitted to JKPT will be checked regarding the writing guidelines by the Administration, if they are appropriate they will be reviewed by 1 (one) Editorial Board and 1 (one) Peer-Reviewer based on appointment from the Editor in Chief of the Editorial Board. The decision whether or not to accept a manuscript becomes the right of the Editor in Chief based on recommendations from the Editorial Board and peer-reviewer.
