Strategi Pengembangan Minawisata: Studi Kasus Situ Cipule, Karawang Jawa Barat
Abstract
Minawisata merupakan bentuk pariwisata berkelanjutan yang menggabungkan eksplorasi sumber daya perikanan dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Di Situ Cipule, Karawang, potensi minawisata yang besar belum dikelola secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan model permintaan serta strategi pengembangan minawisata di kawasan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode deskriptif dan survei terhadap 40 responden pada periode April–November 2024. Analisis menggunakan pendekatan travel cost method dan SWOT. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kunjungan responden ke Situ Cipule adalah 2,32 kali per tahun, dengan biaya rata-rata Rp59.575 per kunjungan. Persamaan permintaan yang diperoleh adalah V = -8,641ln(x) + 1,8332, dengan nilai R² sebesar 0,8318 dan surplus konsumen sebesar 7,51, menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan tinggi. Strategi pengembangan yang diusulkan meliputi penguatan infrastruktur, promosi digital, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan pengelolaan lingkungan berkelanjutan. Disarankan pula insentif investasi, kemitraan dengan lembaga pendidikan, tata kelola kolaboratif, serta pengembangan produk wisata berbasis potensi lokal. Dengan pendekatan ini, Situ Cipule berpotensi menjadi destinasi minawisata unggulan yang mendukung ekonomi lokal dan pelestarian lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.

Minawisata is a form of sustainable tourism that combines the exploration of fishery resources with the empowerment of local communities. In Situ Cipule, Karawang, the great potential of minawisata has not been managed optimally. This research aims to formulate a demand model and strategy for the development of minawisata in the region. The research was conducted through descriptive methods and surveys of 40 respondents in the April-November 2024 period. The analysis uses the travel cost method and SWOT approaches. The results showed that the average visit of respondents to Situ Cipule was 2.32 times per year, with an average cost of IDR 59,575 per visit. The demand equation obtained is V = -8.641ln(x) + 1.8332, with an R² value of 0.8318 and a consumer surplus of 7.51, indicating a high level of satisfaction. The proposed development strategies include infrastructure strengthening, digital promotion, community empowerment, and sustainable environmental management. Investment incentives, partnerships with educational institutions, collaborative governance, and the development of tourism products based on local potential are also recommended. With this approach, Situ Cipule has the potential to become a leading tourism destination that supports the local economy and environmental conservation in a sustainable manner.
