Analisis Produktivitas dan Komposisi Hasil Tangkapan Jaring Hela Udang Berkantong di Laut Aru, Maluku

Abstract


Perairan Kepulauan Aru merupakan bagian Wilayah WPP NRI 718, yang termasuk pada kawasan dengan status pemanfaatan sumber daya udang yang sudah berada dalam tahapan overfishing, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis yang lebih menyeluruh terutama aspek biologinya untuk mendasari kebijakan pengelolannya secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PPN Ambon, Maluku terhitung dimulai bulan Januari sampai dengan April 2025. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghitung tingkat produktivitas pukat udang serta estimasi jumlah hari operasi penangkapan di Laut Aru sehingga pemanfaatan sumberdaya udang dapat dilakukan secara optimal untuk mendasari kebijakan pengelolaannya secara berkelanjutan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode triangulasi, dimana dalam prosesnya akan menggunakan beberapa macam teknik seperti wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi serta survei data sekunder dan primer. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan produktivitas per trip, hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan unit kapal penangkap dalam menghasilkan tangkapan dalam satuan waktu, dalam praktik ini waktu yang dimaksudkan adalah trip penangkapan. Produksi per trip (catch per unit effort) dihitung berdasarkan jumlah produksi (volume hasil tangkapan) dan jumlah trip. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan jenis hasil tangkapan utama yaitu udang tiger (Penaeus monodon), udang banana (Penaeus merguiensis), udang ende (Metapenaeus endeavouri). Pada tahun 2023 memiliki nilai produksi paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 74.086 kg, sementara produksi paling rendah ada pada tahun 2025 dengan nilai produksi sebesar 23.681 kg. Produktivitas berdasarkan trip telah melebihi standar yang telah ditetapkan yaitu KEP.98/KEPMEN-KP/2021 produktivitas pada kapal jaring hela udang berkantong yaitu sebesar 1,32 ton/trip.
